GlowUpNow Terms of Service

1. Introduction

GlowUpNow is a beauty discovery and booking platform operated by Jatho Media. It connects customers (“Customers”) with independent beauty professionals and businesses (“Providers” or “GlowPros”). These Terms apply to GlowUpNow.ca, the GlowUpNow iOS and Android apps, and related services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to create an account. Information you provide must be accurate and current. You are responsible for your credentials and activity. Providers are responsible for licensing, insurance, qualifications and compliance with health, safety and other laws applicable to their services.

3. Discovery, Glowy and AI Features

Glowy guides, photo analysis, recommendations and previews are informational styling and discovery tools. Results may be incomplete, approximate or unsuitable for a particular person. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, a professional consultation, a guarantee of appearance, or a beauty rating. Discuss suitability, allergies, contraindications, maintenance and achievable results with a qualified professional before receiving a service.

You may submit a photo or inspiration image only when you have the right and any required consent to do so. By submitting it, you authorize GlowUpNow and its contracted service providers to process it to deliver and secure the requested feature as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Provider Listings and Content

Providers are responsible for listing accuracy, pricing, services, availability, credentials and content. Providers retain ownership of original content but grant GlowUpNow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, format, distribute and promote that content for operating and marketing GlowUpNow while it remains published, subject to applicable law.

5. Acceptable Content and Conduct

You must not submit content or use the platform in a way that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, unsafe, obscene, malicious or fraudulent.

GlowUpNow may review, restrict or remove content and may suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect users. Concerns can be reported to support@glowupnow.ca.

6. Plans, Trials and Billing

Provider features may be offered through Free, Standard, VIP, promotional or founding-member plans. The plan, trial length, price, renewal terms and included features presented when you enrol control over older promotional descriptions. If no payment method is required for a trial, the account will not be charged merely because that trial ends. Paid subscriptions renew as disclosed at purchase until cancelled.

Payments may be processed by providers such as Stripe or PayPal. GlowUpNow does not store complete payment-card details. Unless required by law, fees already earned are non-refundable.

7. Requests, Bookings and Provider Services

GlowUpNow facilitates discovery, requests, communications and optional bookings. Providers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of GlowUpNow. The Customer and Provider are responsible for confirming service details, price, timing, cancellation terms, deposits, suitability and performance. GlowUpNow does not charge a commission on bookings and is not the provider of beauty services.

8. Mobile Permissions and Notifications

Some app features request optional camera, photo-library, location or notification permission. You can decline or change these permissions in device settings. Transactional messages may still be sent when necessary to operate an account, request or booking.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. It explains AI processing, location, notifications, analytics, service providers, retention and your choices.

10. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account through the app or website. Deleting a GlowPro account also removes its provider listing and account-owned services and content. Deletion cannot be undone. Limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax or dispute purposes. See Account Deletion.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct or risks to users or the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability and dispute provisions—continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, GlowUpNow is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, particular search placement, bookings, earnings, provider performance or AI output. GlowUpNow is not liable for independent Provider services or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as services or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted here. Material changes will receive additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
